6ix9ine

The Brooklyn born rapper is arguably one of the most famous rapper out right now. 6ix9ine rose to prominence after the release of "Gummo" a music video which currently has over 200million views on YouTube.

6ix9ine is only 22 and seems to be doing his thing his way. With that been said, the amount of aggression and violence in his videos are shocking.

Artistic freedom and self expression is something that is widely encouraged amongst aspiring and young artist but where do we draw the line?

Should young men parading with guns while making threats to people they dislike be classed as artistic just because there is a music instrumental playing in the background or is this simply nuts and needs to be stopped. The worst part of this is how young Six9ines and six9ine alike rappers fans are. Are these really the people we want influencing impressionable minds?

Hip Hop has also been a part of my life but the state of Hip Hop today in my opinion is nothing to be proud of.

Gone are the days where rappers stood for change, gone are the days where rappers paved the way, the most important message from Hip Hop nowadays seems to be.... somebody please tell me because I do not know anymore.
