A massive saltwater crocodile weighing in at about 1,300 pounds has been captured in Australia.
The reptile was captured on Monday after rangers had set a trap on a private property near Katherine, a town in Northern Territory, Australia.
The crocodile was estimated to be about 60 years old, measuring more than 15 feet long and weighing more than 1,300 pound.
The crocodile, a male, was “removed” to “help prevent human interaction in the more populated areas,”
The reptile has since been taken to live on a crocodile farm.
