Many thought England has won the game by the 90th minute then Colombia came with a bang equalizing the game during the extra time.
During the first half of over time, Colombia seemed to have gotten their momentum back. This didn't last though as England would not have it so.
The game went back and forth till the very last minute of over time. Penalty shootout was just as exciting with England missing its 3rd shot. England rallied back to with the penalty shootout 5 goals to 3. That was all she wrote.
England has now advanced to the final 8 in Fifa World cup 2018 after 8 years of struggling to get pass the first leg of the knock out stage.
England is due to face Sweden in their next game. Will Sweden give Engalnd a run for their money?
