It wasnt the best but it was a bloody good effort

The Three Lions showed today that they are a force to be reckoned with. From the get go, It was total domination from the Three Lions . I might be a little biased here as Costa Rica did have few threatening opportunities but in terms of possession, control, sharpness and general awareness, The Three Lions had it by a landslide.

Energetic, full of willing runners, playing like a team,  are some of the phrases fans used in describing the team today.

With that being said, just like when they played against the Super Eagles (Nigeria) during the weekend, The Three Lions considerably slowed down in the 2nd half (in comparison to the first half).

As usual, Rashford was fantastic scoring a 13th minute goal. In my opinion, he was the most impressive player in the field today. Well deserved Vauxhall man of the match.
